Sentinels star Gustavo ‘Sacy’ Rossi has spoken out about his future amid rumors that he will retire from Valorant at the end of the season.

Brazilian community figure Noyn claimed on May 9 Sacy will likely retire from competitive Valorant at the end of the year, with teammate Bryan ‘pANcada’ Luna joining another VCT Americas team, MIBR.

The rumors surfaced shortly after it was revealed that the Sentinels had returned Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo to the starting lineup as the team geared up for the final game of the regular season. The Canadian player is reportedly believed to be leaving the Sentinels as he will replace Rory ‘dephh’ Jackson.

Asked by a viewer on stream about Noin’s allegations, Sassy said: oh my god. I can’t take a break. I have no intention of retiring.

“This is a difficult moment, but relax. I’m not retiring. I’ve been through worse.”

The Sentinels are currently tied for eighth place in the VCT Americas table with a 2-5 record, with a playoff chance only outside. Even if he beats KRÜEsports and FURIA in the final two games, his 6-team playoff berth depends on the results of Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves.

The year isn’t over if the Sentinels fail to make the playoffs. Last Chance Qualifiers for Valorant Champions will continue, with teams ranked 4th to 10th during the season competing for one spot in the international event.

“It’s a tough situation. These are tough times and now we have to play the last two games,” Sathy said. “We can’t give up and we need to win two. It would be nice if we could move in, but I need to organize my house.”
