A second Q&A session for developers answered several community queries and revealed details of MotoGP 23’s new online multiplayer ranking system.

Of course, I haven’t seen it work yet or tested it myself, but two of the game’s developers explain how it works.

MotoGP 23 Games Online Multiplayer Ranking System

Michele Caletti, Executive Producer and Creative Director of the title, said:

“There is enough granularity [within] There are different levels and unique “Legends”. There is plenty of room for polishing.

Stefano Zanaboni, Lead Game Designer for MotoGP 23 said:

“We want players to enjoy this new feature in MotoGP and explore it with great racing.”

To date, no such system has been implemented in the series developed by Milestone. There were public and private lobbies, but there was no way to compete with riders of similar skill other than joining an independently organized league.

Of course, as previously revealed, dynamic weather and flag-to-flag rulesets will also be possible online. This is the first in the series. I mean, some heroes will definitely try and win ‘Bloodbinder’ on slicks in the rain…

MotoGP 23 is set to 8th Launching in June 2023, it will also include cross-platform online racing between PlayStation and Xbox consoles, but not PC and Switch unfortunately.
