In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Fox explained his battle with Parkinson’s disease and how it’s part of Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He elaborated on how he remembered the scene.
In this movie, Leonardo DiCaprio plays an aging star who has trouble remembering his lines on set. After seeing this scene, Michael J. Fox recalled a similar experience during the filming of CBS’s The Good Fight, having trouble remembering the lines.

Despite the difficult moment, Fox decided to draw strength from it and retire peacefully. “It was peaceful,” he said.
