The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Financial Modernization Team announced Tuesday that it will soon deploy a bot to automatically pay bills and update budget items.

The launch of the bot comes in a push across the federal government to use robotic process automation to streamline agency processes. It automates the currently manual process of paying monthly bills and updating budget line items required to pay bills to customers or vendors.
